Dutch proud

Last Thursday it finally happened: the release of Vogue Netherlands! From now on, The Netherlands can finally be truly accepted in the international fashion industry. The magazine is everything you can expect from Vogue: sophisticated, unique, innovative and it's weight is more than one kilo (2.2 pounds). Special attention is paid for Dutch talent, including a platform for new and young Dutch talent. On the cover are shining 3 purely Dutch models: Romee Strijd, Ymre Stiekema and Josefien Rodermans. I especially like Romee Strijd, every photo of her is just stunning and her look is so pure and natural, I love it.
Vogue Netherlands no 1 is definitely a collectors item. I will never, ever throw it away!
I look forward to the next edition.

Presents

It's always surprising how many presents you get when you are sick. SICK?! Yeah, I just had jaw surgery and du moment I am recovering from it. I got this lovely and summerlicious body moisture by Chanel, which is so soft and makes parfum unnecessary. The smell makes me desire desire the summer even more. And because of my lack of luck this year, a sweet and beautiful necklace, which is a gold hand of fatima.
And last but not least: something to read! But this is not just something to read. NO. This is the first edition of the Dutch Vogue! I will write more about this in my next blog! :)

London's calling

Last week I was finally able to give my bday present to my boyfriend: a city trip to London. We went for just a couple of days but we were able to see a lot of the city and had even the time to shop! :) Topshop, Urban Outfitters, River Island, Primark, Zara, All Saints.. my head went crazy after seeing all these awesome stores in just one street. Luckily, my boyfriend is also a die-hard shopper, so I didn't have to force him to go in every store. He even had to force me after a whole day shopping to go into another store, ha-ha.
We also had diner at Jamie's Italian, what is really a must if you go to London. After all, we had three amazing days. I would love to go back.
